highly highly impressive if you can see he was out in that quarter second. He was sprawling and already going down, not limp. His eyes were still looking up at the OU wrestler as he was going down. I watched it again to confirm this.Do you know what a flash knockout is? He definitely went out for a split second. His body went limp and when he hit the ground he came to. He wasn’t concusssed and probably doesn’t need time off but he did he go out for a very short time. Watch it again
Does scientist count? It's nice to see we have some doctors participating in the thread.
Damn... you're right. I could only recall a reversal.Pretty sure Nagao gave up one
You are telling me his entire body didn’t go limp? I’ve had this exact thing happen to me. I’m saying it’s not a big deal though. The telltale thing for me was that when Levi went down he didn’t try to catch himself. The conscious/reflexive thing to do is stick your arm out to brace yourself/protect your head. He went down with one arm outstretched and the other at his side. The side of his face bounced off the mat. He was out for a second or two then became alert again.Do you know what a flash knockout is? He definitely went out for a split second. His body went limp and when he hit the ground he came to. Got hate that when it happens, rub some dirt on it.Jim Gibbons just said Josh Barr is out because he got a little dicked up at u23 worlds
yupYou are telling me his entire body didn’t go limp? I’ve had this exact thing happen to me. I’m saying it’s not a big deal though. You do you though
*insert Austin Powers Liberace .gifLiberace was hit on the chin plenty but that didn’t make him an expert on concussions
I mean cool man sure.Because you're implying that it could lead to one if it keeps happening. Unless you're taking a roundhouse from Mike Tyson, your brain isn't impacted by the way his chin hit there. It hurt, he was stunned. He took a moment and they played it safe. That's all
It doesn't offend. These guys are world class. I don't think they need a week off cause I don't see any risk by practicingI mean cool man sure.
I’d still rather he take the week off? Doesn’t feel like a crazy thing to suggest. Sorry if it offends.

Same reason when a pitcher takes a ball of his leg, they don't switch the team batting.Anybody know why, when a wrestler goes into concussion protocol, they don’t move on to the next schedule match? Give the kid some time to recover and not feel the pressure of 15K people and a TV audience waiting on him.![]()

Real Housewives of State College vibe on this board at timesIt's nice to see we have some doctors participating in the thread.
Is there a sex joke in there somewhere?Same reason when a pitcher takes a ball of his leg, they don't switch the team batting.
200 was curtained off. Lower bowl not even fullHow's the crowd? Is 200 level open? On TV theyre not showing the crowd at all
They also dont stop the gameSame reason when a pitcher takes a ball of his leg, they don't switch the team batting.
hmmmm. I'm sure some degenerate on this board can think of a good one.Is there a sex joke in there somewhere?
Ummmm, I've seen much longer delays checking guys out and then letting him throw a few pitches to make sure he's ok.They also dont stop the game
Obvious answer - they don't do it because the rules don't allow it. Either a wrestler is good to continue or he isn't. Suspending a match then later picking up where they left off comes with its own set of problems.Anybody know why, when a wrestler goes into concussion protocol, they don’t move on to the next schedule match? When it’s all the time, it’s not special. Wonder how the economics play out attendance revenue vs increased cost of operation.200 was curtained off. Lower bowl not even full
