At heavyweight we have another new arrival to the line-up & he looks a lot like the last one. As always, expectations will be high. Can Cole live up to them? Let's see what he can do. Tying up & hand fighting. Mora is bigger than Cole. Cole snatches an ankle, but Mora fights him off. Cole tries a drag, but no luck. He reaches for a leg, but can't get there. Cole reaches for an ankle, but can't get there. Mora shoots & gets in deep on a leg. Cole whizzers, then reverses position & gets the TD, 3-0. Cole is riding & works Mora out of bounds, restart. Mora is still down. Mora works to his feet, but Cole brings him back to the mat. Mora gets back to his feet & gets the escape, 3-1. Circling & tying up again with some hand fighting, 1-min left. Cole reaches for an ankle again, but just misses. Head tapping, tying up & pushing. More of the same to end the period. 3-1 Cole
Period 2:
Mora takes down. He sits out & almost gets the escape, but Cole jumps back on top. Cole goes over 1-min riding time. Mora works to his feet & gets the escape, 3-2. Tying up & hand fighting. Cole reaches for an ankle, but can't get there. More tying up & hand fighting, 1-min left. Mora shoots. Cole counters & gets a leg, but Mora squares up & fights him off. Out of bounds & restart, 28-sec left. Tying up & hand fighting. Mora pushes forward a bit. Cole circles back to center. More of the same to end the period. 3-2 Cole, +1:14 RT
Period 3:
Cole takes down. He quickly gets to his feet & gets the escape, 4-2, plus he maintains 1:06 in riding time. Back to tying up & hand fighting, 90-sec left. Mora shoots, but Cole blocks him off. Mora presses forward. Cole circles back to center, 1-min left. Mora reaches, but can't get there. More tying up & pushing with some hand fighting. Mora with some fakes, 30-sec left. Mora pushes forward. Cole circles back to center & time expires. Cole gets a riding time point, 5-2.

Solid, not spectacular win from Cole. Definite improvement from last year.
Not true. Cael gives him time to adjust to folk.
Think he's gonna need to be more calculating against bigger stronger heavies this season like he was tonight. Think against the lighter ones he will be more wide open. Against Strength and weigh it can take alot out of you. I think he did well..

He works to his feet, but Luke brings him back to the mat. Hendriksen gets the escape on the edge, 3-1, but they go out of bounds. Back to neutral. Circling & hand fighting. Luke snags an ankle & finishes another TD, 6-1. Out of bounds & restart. Hendriksen is still down. Luke breaks Hendriksen down to the mat. A debut we've all been eagerly waiting for. Marcus Blaze in PSU Blues...and his college career begins. Circling & hand fighting. Blaze with a low stance. He tries a drag, but can't convert. He reaches for a leg, but can't get there. He snaps, then tries to come behind, but Charmoli fights him off. Tying up & hand fighting again. More of the same for a bit. Blaze hits a high-crotch & gets his first TD at PSU, 3-0. Out of bounds & restart. Charmoli is still down. That's the 10th TD for PSU in the dual, so far. Oklahoma is sitting on a goose egg. Blaze gets Charmoli bellied out. Charmoli gets a warning. Blaze is looking for a cross-face cradle. He locks it up & is trying to flip Charmoli over, but time runs out. 3-0 Blaze +1:11 RT
