I'm setting this up a few hours in advance, so that everyone has the details.

Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the PSU - Rutgers dual.

When:
Feb. 10, 7:00 pm EST

Where:
Jersey Mike's Arena, Piscataway, NJ

TV:
None

Video Streaming:
For subscribers, you can stream it via B1G+

Audio Streaming:
The radio PBP, with Jeff Byers at the mic, will be streamed for free. The pre-match portion of the broadcast will begin at 6:30 pm EST, with the actual dual taking place at 7:00 pm EST. (I question the time of the pre-match portion. It's usually 20 minutes before the match, but GoPSUsports.com is showing it as 30 minutes before the match.) You can access the audio stream at:

PBP:
I should be good to provide PBP. As always, I welcome anyone that wants to join in the discussion and analysis of the matches. As a heads up, I'm questionable for Sunday, with regards to providing PBP for Maryland.

Rutgers weighed in 2 guys at 285, as McDermott has been battling some injuries (per Byers). It remains to be seen which one will wrestle

2nd sell-out at Jersey Mike's Arena for Rutgers wrestling. I wonder how many are PSU fans. I think the Penn State Wrestling Club sponsored a bus trip to this dual.

Byers said that Peterson was a last minute switch from Princeton to Rutgers. Questionable decision academically, athletically, and financially.

141: Beau Bartlett vs. Joseph Olivieri (JO)

Per 1
Lots of hand fighting, collar ties by both, and a Russian tie by Bartlett. Nothing thru 2 min. Beau is really fast when he shoots (or more likely counters), but I wish he shot more often. Stoppage for an eye poke. Beau in on a single, JO locks thru the legs, Beau drives in and gets the TD with 14 sec left, 2-0. End. RT @ 14 sec for Beau

Per 2
JO takes bottom. He's up and returned. JO sits out, eventually turns in and is out, 2-1. Beau got RT up to 40 sec (26 sec of riding before the esc). Beau in on a single, stall warning on JO. Beau elevates the leg and gets the TD, 4-1. JO to his feet, returned to his knee, tries a shoulder roll, nothing. End. RT @ 1:13 for Beau

Per 3
Beau takes bottom. He's to his feet, and he's out in 14 sec, so RT for Beau is down to 59 sec, 5-1. Bartlett in on a single, and takes him to his back, and 2+4 makes it 11-1. End. With RT, it's a 12-1 MAJ for Beau

Great match by BB. Looking very tough against good wrestler. He’s just keeps getting better. Love him going for bonus which we’re going to need.
