Penn State fans/students have been known to be racists. This doesn’t surprise me. Central Pennsylvania is a terrible place. The “white out” games bring out the worst.

Punishing a few kids won’t change behavior. In addition to not putting them that close to the opposing team’s players, I suggest Penn St should be penalized one home game next season and only play 9 at home, with 11 road games. That will cause them to police themselves going forward. A don’t-do-that-again response won’t do ****. They need to suffer, else it’s just a matter of time before this unacceptable incident repeats itself. This isn’t immature. It’s horrific. The school should feel embarrassed.

Caleb McConnell and other players were clearly upset with something after the game and it looked to be the students sitting in the front row right behind Rutgers bench. Penn State needs to investigate every student in that area and expel those responsible I bet the Rutgers bench could point out those who are guilty
