Does everyone remember the cup being thrown from the student section during the win over ARK the year we went to ATL. I threw one in my excitement. Probably shouldn't have but I did. Just wondering if anyone remembers that?

Come to think of it that may be what Chizic reminded Cam's dad about and the reason he ended up not coming here.

My bad.

Man we have some old geezers that are getting their panties in a wad about all of this.

Somebody is gonna dump an ice chest on an outfielder at the warning track.

how many times have fans thrown things on court during a basketball game?

234,000 results. So i guess it's not all that uncommon?

with a whiskey bottle. Every fanbase has their redneck fans that do something like this. Although that was the only time I have heard of someone getting hurt from something being tossed.

I heard Memphis fans used to throw heated up pennies. And a switchblade once when they were playing Louisville.
I'm pretty sure Colorado's entire student section got tossed out of a football game once.
And even the beloved Cameron Crazies used to throw stuff (pizza boxes, panties, etc) during player intros. But apparently their shenanigans are cheeky and fun, while our shenanigans are cruel and tragic.

Do our fans that did this suck royally? Yes.
But spare me the whole "why I never..." act (Forde, Cal, assorted visiting gawkers on here today)

I was at a game in the old Quonset hut gym (when Hank Flick was a whipper snapper and Bully was just a puppy). I think we were playing LSU. In those days (maybe 1966? 1967?) students brought their cow bells to the gym for games - you could not hear anything for hours afterwards. Anyhow. things got really rowdy and the refs called a time out witha minuteor two left and stepped throughthe locker room door to discuss the situation. A minuteor two later, someone came out and said they has"Called the game" and had left the premises.

Them was the days. Just ask your Grandpappy!

In the 2004 Ole Miss game a JB bottle was thrown from somewhere above the vomitorium (sp ck) where State comes out. I think that was the game Stans did the choke sign after he was tossed. Can't remember. I was sitting the section next to this guy. It was a horrible but awesome throw.
