People ask all the time about who would replace Stans..how about this guy?

coach, i think you could do better than that. there are a number of young aggressive young coaches who IMO would see msu as a very good job. if i were byrne and shopping i'd call stan jones quickly.

It's gonna be tough to get Stan Jones. Rumor has it that Phil Jackson has privately named him the coach in waiting for the Lakers.

know stan had moved that far up the ladder, LOL. but seriously would he not be a good candidate? don't know if he would return to ms but at least at one time he was a very good coach. still at FSU?

coach Jones asked one day at practice "Do yall know what the name of the most powerful hurricane in the world is?" I said, "Hurricane Andrew" .... He looked at me and said NO..... " It's Hurricane Jones and just because of that stupid comment by opusdawg, you all get to run extra suicides today" ----- i know it is a worthless story but I was hated that day in 9th grade

basketball expert....has his name come up as possible hc anywhere and if not any thoughts as to why? my kids were at JA when he was there and my daughter learned more basketball from him in the gym on sunday afternoons than she did in her practices. he also i thought did a good job the yr he was at msu and hamilton obviously likely him.
