People who steal tailgate tents suck.

The people who stole all four of ours can get terminal cancer and waste away in a hospital while their family watches them die. If I find out who you are and what hospital you're in, I'll be outside cheering and waving a sign that reads, "Go Cancer, Kick his ***." Seriously, what kind of low life steals a tent, especially four. Seeing as they run about $130 at WalMart right now, you took over $500 from us. We've already replaced them with the khaki colored ones that run $75, so really, you've set us back $820. Even more egregious than the money is how disgusting of a human being you have to be to steal tailgate tents. People like you do not deserve the life you have been given.

It sucks.
I would suggest getting a long cable and locking them to something while you're at the game.
It's a shame that folks have to do that, but I haven't had anything stolen since going to the cable and lock.

We'll be padlocking them together now. The fact that we even have to do that is pretty damn sad.

Our spot was almost completely washed out, so we went somewhere to watch the afternoon games. We figured we'd let the tents dry out a little, and campus said you had until 10am Sunday to take them down anyway.

We park in pay lot that bumps up to the Junction. I wish I could find out who did it, and would be glad to help you with whoever stole your tents. Never thought we would have start locking our stuff like they do in the grave.

These little bastards need to be tied up to a tree in the junction and beat by everyone that has had his/her whole tailgate stolen before. Its happened to me with to seperate groups i tailgate with. Nothing worse than coming back after a loss and having no beer and no place to drown your sorrows

we left ours out there a few years ago overnight... which was not my dubmass move... and they take all the tents that were left up to the campus landscape barn. we went to the barn and there it was along with a ****-ton of other stuff.. tables, chairs, grills.

Landscape, UPD, the building we tailgate next to, friends we know who might have been trying to do us a favor, etc.

There were hundreds of tents still up around campus. Our four were long gone.

reported them to their university they got in one hell of of mess. I hope all u thieves die a slow and painful death.

well we went to pick up our tailgate tent at about 9:00pm after the houston game and our brand new tent that had been used TWICE was gone....with stakes and the bag left in its place. I have never heard of anyones tailgate tents or chairs or anything being stolen until this year. It is absolutely ridiculous that people think that is just alright to do. It is pitiful. Then the next day i figured i would go report it at the msu police department. i was near the station so i walked in and the lady that i talked to acted like she had never heard of the concept of tailgating in her life. instead she just acted like i was just dumb for leaving my tent out "unattended" and made it clear that the police department was not responsible. I am calling event services tomorrow just to make sure they didnt pick it up. all the tailgate tent stealers can go to hell.

I would first call and ask to speak to whoever heads up the rent-a-cop department. And if that didn't help, I would go to the President's office. That's ******** there. That's the kind of **** you get from JPD. But, you have a little more voice at MSU, and you shouldn't settle for that. If something was stolen on campus, they have an obligation to look into it. Your fault for leaving it unattended? Tell the ***** that her damn rent-a-cop compadres leave their damn cars and golf carts unattended all the damn time and the next time you will just help yourself to one.

That's some lazy-*** ******** there and someone should call her *** on it. They have edicts to make sure the alumni are assisted, protected, and generally catered to.

a cooler of beer from our tent. My friends said it was sitting near the sidewalk and someone just walked by and grabbed it on the go. We are pre planning our FL tailgate. No coolers near the sidewalk and we are planning to link the tents together. May even keep the tops off until game day.

i'll be setting my stuff up saturday morning.. i'm not playing "steal the tent and other ****" with the douche bags out there.

on another note: invite a friend that doesn't have a ticket and doesn't give a rats-*** about going to the game to sit at the tailgate, watch tv, drink beer and bash anybody's head in for trying to steal something. we always have some random friends that dont go the ballgames at ours.
