You are lost in your own mind. There is a black market? There has and always will be a black market. How could anyone be opposed to something that creates that many benefits? Why are we holding back science when it is available? Time to move out of the stone age. Less lung timeouts and less injuries should be a goal not something to complain about. I'm sure PSU would be on the leading edge since they have smarter people than the corn rats running the show in flyover land, but that is a different topic altogether.
You and Joe are the lost ones...
Science is not being held back. Joe uses the example of hormone therapy for his wife...
Both of you should slap yourself upside the heads. There is a huge difference between an M.D. prescribing Peptide Therapy and an athlete just deciding they are going to buy CJC-1295 GHRH for mass, strength, recovery, for the sole reason of Physique and Performance. There are legitimate reasons that they are sold under the guise of "for lab use only" or "not for human consumption". When something is sold in the so called grey area it is illicit, low- quality and/or counterfeit.
Back when I was an understudy of Mike Arthur at Nebraska people made the same really dumb argument. Get out of the stone age, why not let athletes help with recovery, endurance, injury prevention and faster healing. Peptides for athletes are still very experimental as to long term issues. Even FDA approved Peptides can be short term or for life depending on the specific body function being improved.
Science is not being held back as long term trials are going and have been for some time. Blood testing is super important to actually see if these gains are just isolated to the body function being enhanced or are there unintended consequences.
Penn State fans and Michigan fans are the two groups that will claim to be the smartest in the room. "My wife is on hormone therapy and it does wonders for her." Okay Joe, did her breast size increase, is she juicier than before, did her mood swings turn to bubbly and happy all the time? I'm genuinely happy for you but what does that have to do with lung capacity and athletic performance?
The NCAA sucks. No fan base would argue that or that they are driven by money. Has zero to do with the worldwide issue of doping. Athletic performance is also about an athletes health and the ability of them to be able to seek out proper medical care and therapy for sports related injuries. Someone has to look after athletes long term health.
You seem to be stuck on insults about the Iowa program and coaches all the while you have zero knowledge of what goes on at Penn State in the Biomechanics Lab or you would be able to have more grounded discussion about athletic performance.
