Nah, I think that job takes a lot of schmoozing with the big money donors. I don't' think he's built for that.

As I posted earlier, ND better worry about Brian Kelly because he would be perfect for that job.

Was his name "Rebel Charlie" or something like that? A caller by that name, from MS, said the same thing on the Jeff Rickard show on XM College Sports Nation this past Sunday morning. It made me chuckle.

Not even close. The coach for Texas has to play nice both with the big time donors and the media. Not certain that is Mullen's strength.

No way. The Bears are thrilled that Mullen isn't a top candidate for the top jobs so we'll be stuck with him. Unless the party line has changed in the last couple of weeks.
