I don't know about yall, but I love having a coach who runs his mouth and acts like a bad ***. That's why I was such a big fan of Sherrill. He was the meanest mofo in Starkville back in the day. He was just pure mean. But he cared about his players and he won games.
It's like having that one friend everyone has with a really bad temper: He's the guy you love to hang out with but wouldn't cross, because the dude acts like he's on 'roids and consistently gets in fights.... and wins.
Mullen runs his mouth and might have a little bit of an ego, but it's what every coach in this league has in common. They're the best, and they know it. There's different levels, and Mullen's near to the top, but it's something Croom was missing. He'd be the first one to tell you all 11 other coaches were better. Mullen will be the first to tell you he's the best, and he'll give you reasons to think it too. [Insert comment about him talking smack to Saban at media days]
