The team's goal is sweet 16. Coach Stans says we are going to have the talent for further but we are going to set our goals @ Sweet 16. Pretty sure I would be happy with that. Kodi is surprisingly a nice guy, but said nothing of transferring. Was also happy to hear him say that don't see why Renardo wouldn't be able to play next year. Some good news I thought.

could have gone two ways. He could've taken the Robert Jackson/Walter Sharpe path, or the Charles Rhodes path. He appears to have gotten his head on straight, like Chuck did, and has decided that he can still get the accolades he wants by buying into the team concept. Some guys get it, some don't. Good to hear that he seems to have bought in. He can be a difference maker. Go ahead and quote me, Coach. I feel like the Sweet 16 should be the goal of this team, if Sidney qualifies.

all the ******** aside, thats the bottom line. Anything less than a Sweet 16 this coming season and its going to be disappointing. Winning the West simply wont cut it. If Stansbury doesnt do it now, he is never going to

for the next two years. He is talented enough to push Sidney for the starting spot if Sidney does not buy in to how hard Coach Stansbury wants him to play. He will also at least be a key bench player for a team that has the potential to do great things. Further, Kodi will likely be the man offensively in the post as a SR considering we lose Varnado, Stewart and likely Sidney as well. His Sr year the likely starters will be:
Riek
Augustus
R Johnson
Turner
Bost

With Kodi's skill set, he could be a Robert Horry type player if he continues to hit the weights.

likely starters for the next year based on the information available right now. Of course, Osby and Smith (if healthy) would play a large role. According to posters here and on other sites Riek's knee is much better than first thought and he may get to play some this year. Regardless, if he is healthy and regains even some of his previous form (that was a projected 1st rounder) , he would likely beat out Bailey and Lewis (who may play 4 or 5) as the starting center.
