The change in status is probably due to Jackson making it clear that no additional documentation will be provided. There is no other choice now other than for the NCAA to review what has been made available to them. Since their statement emphasizes that all requests have not been provided, I'm going to assume this is not going to end favorably. Although, it is possible Jackson submitted alternate information that could help the NCAA ease their concerns about whatever it is they are looking into. However I don't think that is likely - I'm thinking Jackson has submitted far less to the NCAA than he has been leading us all to believe.'The NCAA Eligibility Center has changed Mr Renardo Sidney's status from Not Certified due to Non-Response (NCNR) to Under Review. This change allows the Eligibility Center staff to restart the process of determining whether Sidney meets NCAA requirements for initial eligibility. Sidney was placed in NCNR status while the Eligibility Center awaited receipt of specific documentation that was first requested from the Sidney family in April. There have been two additional requests for the same information since then. Some, but not all, of that information has now been received. Receipt of the documents is just one of several steps necessary for making a certification decision. All initial eligibility certification decisions are based upon NCAA amateurism guidelines as established by the membership. Although there is no timeline for the Sidney certification decision to be made and all requested documentation has not been received, the EC's goal is to arrive at a decision as quickly as possible. The EC annually completes approximately 80,000 amateurism certifications with less than one percent of those incurring some type of eligibility penalty.'
