for whatever reason, he knows he's busted on our end. Therefore, he admits it, distances himself from Cam and says AU is innocent.

It still makes him ineligible per the rules, but I think this is all he can do.

He think he is.... "Yeah, I spoke of money but just once just to MSU that was it/I was wrong. Praise Jesus!" Are we just surrounded by jackass's that believe this hack? I love how Slive sits in his Ivory tower making comments regarding credibility and then this pimp confirms everything.

...the court of public opinion (outside of Opelika, that is) will **** all over the "Auburn is clean" part of this. It takes a complete suspension of disbelief to accept that Newton was pimping his son to MSU and ended up taking nothing from Auburn. The very nature with which the process went down suggests otherwise. Auburn wasn't even on the radar with the guy until the 11th hour.

If the "the money was too much" comment that Cam made was accurate, and especially if it is on tape somewhere, that will prove that Cam's hands aren't clean, either.

that

1 - MSU is totally innocent
1A - MSU is given credit for doing what is right.
2 - Auburn is innocent
3 - Cam is able to continue to play.
4 - Ole Cecil has to deal with his actions. What he did was wrong
5 - Slive goes down the drain. Gone as SEC President.

Auburn isn't clean, and MSU may have some minor infractions depending on who got the tapes and how.

However they might have covered their tracks good enough to not get caught, but I agree there will be a full blown investigation and this will hurt recruiting and they could very well find other wrong dealings that could get then in trouble. Anyways I think the SEC will not win the National Championship this year. In fact if we do get a team into the game, it will be LSU and that could leave the Sugar bowl open to any team in the top 14 of the BCS and if we could, by the help of the gods of football win out, it could be us.
