He's taking a mid-week visit to get more one on one time with the coaches. We showed him a detailed plan on what his career might look like at State and he came away extremely impressed. Would be a huge, HUUUUUGE get for us.

I've been reading this board fairly frequently since 2009, and this is first time ever I've now seen this explained. I never knew what the whole Rosebowl moniker meant either and never really thought to put the effort in to ask. Like most other quirky things on this board, you just pick up on them as read. Oh well...carry on.

I was just about to say... his Top 4 simply means that he'll end up with Freeze at OM. Those guys go from not being anywhere on a kid's radar to the head of the class like no other program in America.

Maybe I'm not giving Mullen enough credit, but in his 5 years here, has his staff ever pulled a single rabbit out of its hat near signing day? I know that we've managed to hold on to a couple soft verbals here and there that people weren't sure about, but I don't recall him ever sealing the deal on any big timers that weren't already committed.

With all the rumors and disinformation last year, I might say Chris Jones. Ross was a good late get. Of course I'm partial to the signing day offers of Day and Calhoun. They worked out well even though our fans have the staff a lot of flack over those two players.

As a five star prospect he must have a lot of potential, but . . . . . . .

a couple of weeks ago in the Alabama v. Mississippi All Star game he got schooled by the Mississippi receivers.

That said, this Alabama legacy was born and raised to play for one school and one school only. Anyone who believes otherwise is simply fooling himself.

That statement would carry more weight if his brother hadn't gone to Arkansas.

We do have several things working for us with this kid. 1. FSU DC which was former Hoover HS DC and close family friend left for UGA. 2. Bama secondary coach just left. 3. Neither of these schools have top notch track programs, kid is an elite track star. 4. His brother left AL for track not football.
