Along with Notre Dame, that's 2 big loses for Adidas in the past month. My hope is that A&M will follow.

Aside from stripes on our football uni's I love Adidas. I hope we never leave them because the only other brand that would take us is UA and they suck donkey balls. I'm not even sure they'd take us... Which is fine by me. We've burned the Nike bridge, so Adidas it is.
A&M doesn't have anything holding them from Nike and they're in a position right now vs just 5 years ago for Nike to try and get them. That would leave us as the only Adidas school in the SEC.
Maybe they'll give us UT's template now.

Thats a perpetuated falshood. No bridge has been burned. Nike bids on us every time we turn over apparel providers... WE choose who we wear, not the other way around.

I'm sure they do, but I bet the bid includes US giving THEM 6-figures a year. And I'm sure that includes their high school apparel that they give all the C-USA, MWC, and Sun Belt teams that they endorse. I **** you not, my high school had the same line as USM had before getting dropped by Nike. For all the **** we give Adidas about THE DESIGN of our stuff, they treat us right.

Some rumblings today somewhere I read(can't find it in a quick search) that aTm is entering negotiations to go back to Nike... Also didn't show in a quick web search, but may be worth watching.
Agreed. I don't care who's in charge where, any sports apparel company would jump through hoops to get us wearing their ****. Too much recognition and money for them not to want it.
aTm fans are just as unhappy about our unis being just like theirs. I swear Adidas totally 17ed these two contracts by being too lazy to design individual gear for each team. They have jeopardized losing one or both for being stupid. The lone good thing about us being the only Adidas school in the SEC would be our negotiating leverage for better design for uni. I like our practice jersey better than our game jersey, plain maroon or white with the 3 Adidas stripes on shoulder and no Mississippi State written across the entire front. Would the SEC ever enter a contract with NIKE for all 14 teams like the NFL does? I could see that happening.
