Don't give a **** one way or the other what they call it, but Arm Barn? I actually like it. Get creative with it and have a tin roof and wooden (padded, of course) barn door for the pitchers to enter the field from. The Anderson Co (TN) Mavericks have a big barn door/stall attached to their field house. With the fireworks and dry ice, it's one of the best entrances in high school football anywhere.
Years ago, some guy registerd PETA domain name and came up with "People Eating Tasty Animals". Poor fella received several death threats. Huge cybersquatting case back in the day. Heh.

Many people do refer to it as the pen, me included most of the time. No particular reason for it though.
As a vegan I refer to it as the Beyond Bullpen.
I just point and laugh at most of these BS fake equality groups.
Being that it's Halloween season, when I read the term "arm barn," I got a visual of a creepy, dilapidated barn full of severed arms, hanging down from the rafters. Anyone else get that?

I believe PETA has killed over 500,000 dogs in the last 20 years. Not sure this is a new level of insanity. Penn and Teller did a show on it and I watched a lady that was doing a documentary on how horrible they are with pets. They will find ways to have your dog or cat declared a safety hazard or health concern and while its being figured out in court they will kill the animal.
Peta isn't for pets. they believe all animals should be free and if you have tainted them they need to die. The founder protested Insulin production from pigs while she was using that very insulin.
