Even if he had connected on the 4th and 2 and the receiver had scored, you're still looking at a 3 point lead and giving the ball back to Florida State with about 2:30 left and it wasn't like Louisville's defense was going to hold em that long.

Abandoning the run has been a little baffling in a lot of games I've watched this year, college and pro.

Also, I felt like on the 3rd and 2, the QB had a lane open up and could have walked two yards.
