Yeah I'm just sitting on the deck waiting for my UL loving neighbors to get back from the game. My UK flag is flying proudly and if I had a recording of Happy Chandler singing My Old Kentucky Home I'd be playing it as soon as they got out of the car.
Please post a pic of them peeking from behind their curtains. [roll]

Some UofL fan/family are saying as much.......so its second hand.

But they are not happy with the way Petrino is handling this.
I suppose they expected grace and class.....

Do they expect leopards to change spots as well?

He should be happy. 'Tis the season of giving ... and he's done a lot for Tom Herman and Mark Stoops' careers in the last week.
That is a fact!........
We were going to have good practice time but now we're going to have great practice time.... Am excited to see what we look like with rest and more time..... Very happy for ALL players and Staff.............

That was his first loss to us, right?

Can't believe this is the same Louisville team that wrecked FSU and almost beat Clemson. Everyone should be proud as hell. Get a couple of more seasons like this and we might breakthrough to win the division. Going .500 in conference was a huge jump.
We beat him one time when he coached at Arkansas!

I just listened to his post game press conference. I could not hear exactly what the reporter asked or what his comment was but apparently it was about Jackson and questioning his play. Petrino went to bat for Jackson, told the reporter it was a bad question, got up and left.

My take: Since I could not hear what the reporter asked and can only surmise his question/comments by Petrino's response, I will say...In light of the crap the media spews; the idiot positions it takes on ALL issues; the fact media types support the likes of the clintons, obamas and other horrible politicians; the fact they support social positions only idiots would support...If I have to choose sides between Bobby Petrino and 99% of the media, I'd take Petrino every time.

That said, it's good to see him in less than a chummy mood.

This tells me your intelligence is minimal. How do you compare sports to politics when it comes to sports media? Did he ask him who Lamar voted for?
No he asked if he held the ball to long in the pocket, not his opinion on the president elect not his position on his political party. So get that crap out of here

Sound like the response of someone that would support media idiocy. I'd choose to blame the reporter for a poor question in light of blaming a coach for defending his player

I just watched his post game press conference on youtube, Petrino was actually rather classy and he seemed a bit down but overall ok with everything. He complimented Kentuckys offense and said the one thing they couldn't do was turn it over. Someone asked him a question (I couldn't hear it) that was insulting to his QB and he said thats a bad question, Praised Lamar Jacksons play all year, repeated that was a horrible question and walked out.

It might actually be the classiest press conference he's ever done. Bobby isn't the same ******* he used to be in public, thats likely why Louisville fans are mad at him. They want the jerk Bobby Petrino.

This makes a lot of sense. The tweet I posted is from the chuckle head who wrote "The Louisville Man" essay last year in response to the hookers in the dorm scandal. I assumed a louisville media member would be fair. But now I realize, it's a Louisville fan that doesn't understand what normal behavior is.

"He's a font of misplaced rage. Name your cliché; mother held him too much or not enough, last picked at kickball, late night sneaky uncle, whatever. Now he's so angry moments of levity actually cause him pain; gives him headaches. Happiness, for that gentleman, hurts."

No they didn't. They asked if he thought Jackson stayed in the pocket too long at times and he went off on some non-sequitur rant about how that was a stupid question because Jackson works really hard, blah, blah, blah and then walked off the stage.

Wouldn't say our name before the game. Sent their band to play their fight song when our team showed up. Lost.

He can go straight to hell.

Thats exactly what I said.

You can watch the whole thing here.

He said nice things about Kentucky before the reporter pissed him off with the Lamar question. No he should have a thicker skin than storming off Billy G style but he was actually very professional and complimentary of Kentucky's play.

I'm saying that the question wasn't insulting. It was simply whether or not he thought Jackson held the ball too long a few times.

Him walking out disnt bother me. He was just defending his player instead of throwing him under the bus. After seeing it, I'm not bothered

I'm not bothered. It was just illogical considering how innocuous the question was. I think he was looking for something about which to act indignant.
