you really have no idea how delusional these people are. I had a co-worker tell me this morning that the girl should be let go, and Petrino given a raise. Yeah, and he was serious.

Hell he got BJ in the Oval Office. You or me get a BJ at the officer and see if we don't lose our job. He should have been kicked out of office for that alone. Not for the BJ but where he got the BJ. I didn't pay him to o to work to get a BJ. To make it worse he did not have enough sense not to spooge on the dress. What a idiot.

It's one thing if a plumber gets caught cheating. Petrino is the most recognizable face of Arkansas athletics in the country, and you know that.

He should be fired for stupidity. No one gets fired for cheating, they get caught for lying and then getting discovered.

But she's got a slam dunk sexual harrassment case against Petrino and the University of Arkansas in any court in the country. I feel terrible for her fiance. I can't imagine finding out 3 months before my wedding that my wife was 17ing another man. I feel bad for Mrs. Petrino too, but I think she made her decision a long time ago so I doubt she's too surprised.

I should have said "no job related sanctions". I think what he did was plenty to get him convicted during the impeachment and removed from office ... but I'd love to have him back right now considering who we have ....

And I posit that Petrino has already had a raise, perhaps many of them, during this debacle ....

He ain't lying. You really need to spend an extended amount of time over there to get an understanding of how crazy they are.

Someone pulls something that sleazy, tawdry, and dishonest and they are going to have a rally for him? OK, put your decency and morality aside if you must and keep him if you want but a RALLY for him? What has he done to merit a rally? Oh yeah he won 10 football games last year. That trumps lying, betraying and devastating one's family, hiring a mistress with state funds, etc. Wow. Have people no shame anymore? Is winning football games THAT important?

I have no doubt Ark would pay her off to avoid a trial, but I'm not sure an arkansas jury, federal or state, would be too sympathetic to a 25 year old girl that (a) was voluntarily whoring it up with an old married man and (b) may screw up the hawgs football season. If there wasn't an explicit quid pro quo, how exactly would she prove her case? Is a sexual relationship with a subordinate per se sexual harassment?

I know it won't happen, but if the relationship was consensual, I wish Arkansas would tell her she'd have to take her chances at trial if she wants a payday. Seems like we've got some screwy incentives out there otherwise.
