Looks like he's had his hairline worked on...
Still though, great guy and best QB of all time IMO

The only Manning that's made disparaging remarks about MSU is the old man...have never heard Peyton nor Eli make any such remarks. The old man used to do it fairly regularly when he was on the Saints broadcast and a player from State who was then in the NFL.

I have a friend I grew up with that could be a body double for Peyton, it is

scary how much they look alike. This friend had the hardest head I've ever know and would argue about just about anything so every time I see Peyton I think "hard head".

Archie will throw zingers at State for sure but for the most part he is a good

guy. He loves his University just like we love ours.

Does his fat wallet make him immune to negative discussion?

There's nothing worse than using "well he's so rich, I'm sure he cares what you think!" to try to invalidate someone's opinion.

Peyton is probably the classiest and smartest player in NFL history. I don't know that I would put him ahead of Montana just yet though. Maybe after 1 or 2 more Super Bowls.

I don't particularly care for Eli (moreso because I hate the Giants) and really enjoyed watching him run for his life against the Panthers.

Archie, don't give a rip about him as player but I commend him on his job as a father and ambassador for the state.

He's not better than Montana, Elway, or even Brady. One of the greatest ever for sure though.

Well

if it were some legitimate discussion on him, no. However, it's a sophomoric attempt (at best) at humor about someone that one has no frame of reference on. There's nothing worse.

I saw Eli interviewed a couple weeks ago, before the first game I think. I was struck by what a clean cut young man he is, in contrast to most of the others on the field. No tats, decent haircut, family man, well spoken, etc. I can't say too much bad about Eli. Yeah, he pissed on the bush or whatever in college, but most of us have done that at one time or the other.

The Book of Manning . . . ESPN

should be required viewing for all young parents.

Dude has a bigger brain than you for sure.

The Book of Manning show is really great. I have so much respect for that family. My grandmother's family was from Drew and was good friends with them. She told me stories of when Archie's dad committed suicide and how it almost destroyed everyone. But in the end it really helped mold and hold his family together even stronger.

Peyton is trash. I know someone who is great friends with Eli and has gotten to know Peyton. He is a adulter and thinks he is hot ****. As far as the book of manning, it was good.
