It's been around for awhile now. Dude paid out twice. She's not coming around again, right? There have been absolutely zero reports about anyone supporting his side of the story besides daddy.

He was well known for showing his ball sack to co-eds around the athletic department at Tenn - I think this is more than smoke.

What on earth would cause a college student to pull down his pants and sit on a trainer's head and think it was funny? Those are high school antics!! Grow up Peyton!

College students are supposed to be the most honest, sincere, genuine, truthful, principled, and irreproachable people there are!

Wild things happen in the locker room in college along these same lines. Usually it is between players though, not staff members... Some of the FB players that I went to college with would walk into my dorm room and do the same thing to my sleeping roommate who was also on the team and they were best friends.

Sounds like the father was embarrassed that his kid was being a typical jock in the 90's and felt it might tarnish the family name.

Kids will be kids...until they cross the line and get punished like the adults that they are.
This should have been dealt with properly in the 90's and the Manning book shouldn't have mentioned it. When you screw up, you must own up to it and deal with it like a man.

Peyton should have been punished like in The Breakfast Club where the wrestler taped a kids bums together. The kid had to go in all Saturday and hang out with the other deviants like Claire, Bender and the Goth chick who didn't talk much.

And if this was your daughter, friend, wife.....you would feel how about this, exactly? Kids will be kids, right?

I cannot take this seriously, at all. I've read the articles and I'm calling ********.

Just curious - why can't you take this seriously? I read the article....it seems pretty clear something happened, yes?

I'm going to catch hell for this, but I'll put it out there anyway: If you read the same article and replaced "Peyton Manning" with "Cam Newton", what would your opinion be?

In college we used to call that an atomic sit-up. Not real pleasant but pretty funny so long as you're not the one doing the sit up.

Well, can you imagine a kid farting in someone's face when they are doing something (kneeling maybe) right behind them? In the locker room, player A is kneeling while tying his shoe while player B walks up and farts in his face.

From reading the story, at first it kind of sounds like Peyton was being funny and dropped his shorts real quick to put his butt on her head... but then it sounds like he held it there and she had to push him off. So was it for one second or 10 seconds? (Naturally when the butt is there with the pants down the scrotum tends to hang down touching whatever is there. Such is the added benefit for the victim to add this truth to her story to make it sound even worse than just his bare butt touching her head. Whether Peyton even considered that his junk might touch her head, one cannot deny that it more than likely did happen, as brief as it may have been.)

Without knowing more details, its hard to know exactly how it happened, but it doesn't sound like he held her on the ground and shoved his naked butt in her face. It does however sound like he did it for more than just a second.

I just now brought my wife in her and had her read the story and my response above.

She knows the difference between a man groping/raping/etc. a woman and a college student trying to be funny and taking the opportunity that presented itself for his own humor.

My wife 100% believes this is a kid being a kid. That doesn't mean that she (or myself for that matter) thinks it was appropriate and that it shouldn't have any punishment.

My wife said, "the woman has every right to complain and to file a lawsuit, but that doesn't mean Manning is a horrible person. It means he actually did something that many" typical jocks "would consider humorous."

Like I said before, Manning should have dealt with this in the 90's and took the punishment then and got it over with, whether it meant having to register as a sex offender or probation or whatever may be. Deal with it like a man.

I busted out laughing reading that article.. maybe I'm too visual minded, but I could not keep a straight face visualizing Peyton rubbing his naked butt on some chicks face all the while chuckling and singing 'Nationwide is on your side'..
