Think they are the same, but the exact one Dustin was in is now a hospitality tent or something...

...they said if he were to hit the same drive with this setup, it would most likely have bounced back into the fairway.

Tiger: Fairway, Green, 2 putts, Par on #1. o_O[banana]
Yeah but putts from off the green on two and only makes par when the old guy would have chipped and birdied it. The guy is playing scared with his wedges and driver which won't equate too much.

[laughing]

That's the way she goes, I guess. Bastard has been dog **** for us all year, and now finally puts a halfway decent round together. 160th in FedEx Cup points this year. Missed the cut in the Masters and US Open.

I'm an idiot for being in too much of a rush to gambol that I didn't even consider that he WON here last PGA, but you still need to PayPal me $50 if you have any character whatsoever, imo.

Did EJ just blame Holmes fall to lower than 500 in the world on an ankle injury? Probably had nothing to do with the brain surgery EJ.

Id take the under for Tiger. I think he will grind it out to make the cut.

Come on Cawood. No chance he goes for a 69 today, just to get to the projected cut line. I doubt it is going to back up.

While I don't think he is done for good, he is done for this year.

To make the cut he would have to shoot a 70 not 69. ( at this moment of post)

Two things on your reply:
1) I said take the under which means 74
2) I said i think he will grind to make the cut ( not my opinion but what he is thinking) and not that he IS going to make the cut.

I can see why so many people have you blocked, you can't even read and comprehend sentences. That's basically 3 things you are wrong about in one sentence.

1. The projected cut I'm looking at is currently Even Par. He'd have to shoot a 69 to get there. The fact is a 70 won't do him any good if the cut remains at E.

2. You clearly said you thought he was going to grind it out and make the cut. Are you trying to spin it that you didn't say that? How am I wrong about that?

3. I never said I didn't think he'd go under 74.5.

So that is 3 things I wasn't wrong about, the last 2 of which you pulled out of thin air.

PGA championship leaderboard has +1 cut. Can you tell us what South African tour event you are looking at to get an E cut?

I meant he was grinding it out to make the cut and not he will grind it out AND make the cut. Stating his intentions and not my thought.

Looking at the ESPN scores.

^ So from that statement above I'm supposed to glean that those are Tiger's intentions and what he is thinking and not what you are thinking?

Anyone who says he's "done" is an idiot. But the fact that you're using that band of chumps and misfits as his baseline/comparison is awfully telling, no?

Dooby and Walker are also on my fantasy golf team, so they can get pumped to hell and back.

He said he is done this year.
Hard to deal with idiots that don't have reading comprehension.

Speaking of that, how do you feel about cawood's "I think he will grind it out to make the cut"? Cawood's thoughts or Tiger's thoughts?

He said he is done this year.
Well, not necessarily true. He could choose to play next week and we will find that out today. I think he should but i doubt he will. He can still choose to play overseas an event or two, which he actually mentioned yesterday to my surprise, and he will play this year in October at the FRY's event. Now the Fry's is the first tournament next year on the PGA Tour schedule but it is this year. So he is more than likely not done this year. He may be PGA Tour season done but this year would be incorrect because he will play at least 2 events (FRY's and HERO) and may even play overseas.

Actually, playing that FRY's event in the wrap around season and being the first tournament of the year will hopefully be a decent kickstart for next season.

Take your lumps on this one Cawood. Your OP definitely reads like you are saying Tiger will grind to make the cut. May not be what you meant but hard to read it any other way.

Stfu. I know what I meant. No taking any lumps when you know what you are saying. I'm not going to lie about what I meant to say. And it can be read both ways, but when I tell you immediately what I meant, it cannot be read both ways.

You mean Tiger was going to try to make the cut?

Glad he's got his priorities correct.

Both wrong, he would not have had to shoot 69 to make cut and he's playing next week.
