Guess it's still a better system than Maryland where they cut out a week from the regular season so that every school makes the playoffs.
Region A needs more teams and it solves this issue. Like I said, foolishness. Balance the regions, there is a absolutely no good reason not to do so.

Jamestown was outscored 207-0 in last three games. Expected. Worse than a scrimmage. Should be a rule for playoffs, .500 or better or go watch TV.

1A: 400 and below. 16 team playoff.
2A: 401-750. 32 team playoff.
3A: 751-1450. 32 team playoff.
4A: 1451 and above. 32 team playoff.
All of a sudden the regular season actually has some meaning as it should, and schools like Jamestown and Cumberland don't make the playoffs to be cannon fodder.

Hate to say it, but in this case tonight Jamestown probably should've forfeited. But I agree need a change to the playoffs in this region.
I commend Jamestown showing up knowing it was going to get ugly fast. They could have just forfeited like some teams in other divisions
