I'm not a huge fan of the architecture but something simple could go a long way to making this better. Namely, lots of greenery. I might suggest some huge concrete planters for trees and some lower level planters for shrubs and flowers. I expect the lack for water draining in the original design makes for a problematic installation, but it could be done.
The entire facility, especially the new renovations, needs a lot of vegetation. It's too "baron". I suggest some huge planters that can accommodate trees and some planters for shrubs and flowers.
