Went over the weekend. Really nice guy who owns the place. You can either dine in, carry out a cooked pizza, or take home a prepared pizza and bake it later. He makes the dough and sauce fresh from scratch every day. We dined in and had a sit-down meal for 14 bucks, including several toppings and had pizza left to take home. Highly recommended.

I got a large pizza loaded with 5 meat toppings and it wasn't expensive at all for the amount of food that was there. I took it back and baked it in the oven and could only managed down a quarter of it before I was full. I hope they do well this year. I enjoyed every bit of it

And yes it is very good, and the guy that runs it is a really good guy. I recommend trying it.

It might be right off 12 but it is still hidden from view. But like MSUDawg25 said it is the building on the right of Christy's.

Didn't know about it but this discussion just pushed it to the top of my "to do" list for Saturday. I know a lot of people like Stromboli's but it's truly unimpressive to me. Their dough is too tough and too sweet and the sauce is made from sauce an not tomato's.Nick and Al's (formerly Luigi's) in Meridian is the best I have had since moving to Miss. in 1987. All their dough, and sauces are made from family recipes and thier marinara and pizza sauces are made from tomato's and not tomato sauce, so they will be hard to beat but I'm always willing to give a true pizzeria a chance.

It was never very good, but it was so much cheaper than other places it appealed greatly to the broke college student. I haven't been in a while but the price seemed to go up every year until it didn't cost much more to go to Papa Johns or another chain with better pizza. The strombolis were still pretty good though.

This new place sounds interesting.

Hands down, it's not even close. I make my wife pick up several when she has to go to the Queen City on business.
