Not sure if he's on the PSU radar, but I saw the Grove City 107# the last two weeks in Sharon. Apparently, he's a stud.

I figured as much but didn't know all that. Thanks.Chase Karenbauer won a loaded field at Powerade, including beating both Eli Herring and Justin Farnsworth (Malvern Prep).
Oh BTW, his head coach is Cael alum Wes Phipps.
So yeah, the PSU coaches are fully aware of him.
Afraid I’ll have to wishfully root against Cunningham for this one.Asher Cunningham is into the semifinals. The Penn State Class of 2025 signee beat Shane McFillin of Bethlehem Catholic by technical fall, 19-1, in 4:53. He’ll face Connor Wetzel of Shikellamy in one 172-pound quarterfinal.

Shik: class of 1990

That should be a good one. Sement is really good.Dalton Perry won his AAA 145 lbs. Semifinal match over Michael Turi (West Scranton), by a 5-2 DEC.
He'll face Eren Sement (Council Rock North) in the Final.
He lost to Carter Chunko of Saucon Valley 10-1 in the semifinals. Not sure if he's on the PSU radar, but I saw the Grove City 107# the last two weeks in Sharon. Apparently, he's a stud.
Forrest won 7-1.AA 133 lb finals. The only thing standing between VT commit Aaron Seidel and a fourth PIAA state championship…Jax Forrest. Seidel is 205-3 for his career. His only three losses are to Forrest (11-4 earlier this year), Leo DeLuca and Anthony Mutarelli. Impressive.
Finished 16th in AAA with one champ (Cunningham) and two total placers. How is state high doing.
He’s been dominating this year and seems to have really jumped levels (I’m sure his access to coaching and partners helpsHow good is Cunningham? Will he be a productive college wrestler?
I also wonder if some of that is his dad’s coaching experience as it relates to developing at a measured pace (vs. the typical wrestling dad who’s often pushing their kids at a young age)? I saw Cael’s son wrestle at youth states last year and the year prior as my youngest was wrestling there, and he went 0-2 both years. This year he won JR High states, in fairly dominant fashion. He’s been dominating this year and seems to have really jumped levels (I’m sure his access to coaching and partners helps). The kid that he beat in the finals and TF’d at regionals last week is legit.

He can be, if he makes the lineup. He has a shot at it, but we're kinda loaded at his weights, so it's not a given. How good is Cunningham? Will he be a productive college wrestler?
