putting pink ribbons on our football helmets is the dumbest F'ing thing I have seen in a long time.
A few days ago there were some threads discussing how the NCAA was a bunch of *** kissing, politically correct, do gooders and how they shaft college sports. I saw the ribbons and the NCAA execs were the first folks I thought of.
Someone wanted to "show" how much compassion our program has, well screw that.
I want to see a Bulldog with bulgding eyes and his teeth protruding out of his mouth on our helmets. Then I want to see a team on the field that wants to grind people into the dirt.
Instead I get to see (and read about) what a bunch of pussies we are. The pink ribbons tie the whole image up real nice.
Just so I am clear, raising money and awareness for breast cancer is a good thing, but leave the freaking football team alone.
