Like 1/4 of the national championships during that time was from the winner of this game.&nbsp; Yeah they were both cheating like SMU (and still are), but it was still The Game.&nbsp; Now, NOT EVEN!&nbsp; The only other early season game I remember having so much interest in was FL vs Tennessee (and that didn’t come about til Spurrier in the 90s).The NC State @ the Chokies is kind of like watching your old rival that miss playing.&nbsp; I’ll never like them and if I was to make my own conference or pick an annual schedule for WVU to play, they’d be on it every year (Maryland would too).As for Wake Forrest being on the slate, barring a COV19 wipe out, it will be 2021 before they’re spotted here again.&nbsp; They don’t even get put on for rivalry week.</blockquote>
