If you could guarantee one of these things to happen which would it be. I'm not giving you a choice of Bama vs. LSU because that would be too obvious (and some here want Bama to win and some want LSU to win). And definitely not giving you the choice of Presbyterian over UM.

Your choices are:

aTm beats Auburn
UK beats Georgia
Utah beats Oregon

not even a close choice. Auburn losing gives us one more path to winning the SECW. The other two games have no impact on our chances to win the west and thus don't matter.

Win the west make the championship game
The west team WILL win the champ game
The SEC champ WILL be in the playoffs.

Thus the winner of the west gets in the playoff regardless of record.

I want the Mariota balloon deflated once and for all.

Meanwhile, obviously Bama is a bigger West threat, and I want Auburn hyped as much as possible for the Iron Bowl in case we've lost to the Tide.
