Pick em and Down to 4 Contest information

I'll be doing the Pick em again this year. With all Classes on the same forum, I'm going to try and find Pick em games from all the classes. The majority of games will probably still be from C4.

Whether you've played in the past or have sat on the sidelines, I welcome everyone to play. Trust me, it's a lot more fun with a big group to play Pick em with. Each correct pick is worth a point, with each GOW (game of the week) being worth 2 pts.

I'm planning on doing the Down to 4 Contest again this year. Before the season we do our best Nostradamus impressions and pick the semifinalists in each Class.

We'll also have a combined Pick em for the NCAA/NFL.

Keep an eye open for updates and posts related to all these games. We want as much participation as possible.

Spread the word to your buddies that VaPreps has now moved to https://www.on3.com/
Get em to join us, the more the merrier.

It's not the same as it was, it will take some time to adjust, but let's make it the best experience we can.

If I remember right pizzzzza won the Down to 4 Contest. I think I was in the Finals for both Pick ems and I won 1 or both of them. I can't remember if this was last year or the year before though.

I have a question for those who will be playing Pick em. Once we get to the playoffs, would you rather reset the points, (like we've done the last several years) OR go back to head to head matchups? (Have 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, 3 vs 14, etc...)

I like head to head. It mimics the actual playoffs. Win or go home.

I go home earlier and earlier these days!

Actually, I haven’t participated in the last couple of years, but I fully intend to this season. I’ve decided to retire Sept 30. I’ll still work some, but nothing like I do now. If bleeding Navy can come out and play, we may see you later this year.
