I like this kid. He doesn't have the hype of a Dylan Favre or even a Tyler Russell. He's just quietly going about his business. And I think he's going to give both Tyler and Dylan a run for their money next year. I'm thinking we need to keep an eye on him. He just might be the real deal.

I'm not saying Dak didn't have his accomplishments in high school. I just don't think he was as touted as Tyler and Dylan.

Really....... Tyler was a higher ranked QB sure, but Dylan did not have any other SEC offers if you remember.

Dak was between us and LSU......

Might not go by the whole "star" thing, but when you have offers from LSU and TCU as a qb sure beats the hell out of Southern Miss Tulane & Northwestern State.

And all last year during recruiting he kept asking me how in the hell we got him to commit and that it'd be a steal if we could keep him when LSU came on strong at the end. I fully expect him to make a push for starter next year and at least get a lot of PT. Gonna be a stud if Mullen develops him like he's done with Relf.
