First couple of days are a haze of pain meds! I remember trying to watch the Kentucky 08 Croom game while laid up a day or two after, nope. Still managed to get pissed at Croominator though.First time I've check Sixpack since before surgery.
Yeah I agree with others--don't rush recovery. Do as they say, you're at ground zero. I learned that no matter how much I'm still in prime shape mentally (part time at least), being fresh off back surgery the body has a different plan. Listen to your docs and listen to your body.
Thanks for asking Taz_Man. Surgery was on the first and went well according to Dr. Bassett. They cleared out a handful of disc material from L2 and cleared the right facet. Laminectomy on L2, L3, and L4. One night in the hospital then a torture trip home in the car. I felt every bump and crack in the road. Wearing a brace for two weeks with limited mobility until Dr. does 2 week review. Walking a lot and already walking much further than I could before surgery. Started back on treadmill today but slow speed. First time I've check Sixpack since before surgery. Trying to walk as much as possible.
