Thanks for asking Taz_Man. Surgery was on the first and went well according to Dr. Bassett. They cleared out a handful of disc material from L2 and cleared the right facet. Laminectomy on L2, L3, and L4. One night in the hospital then a torture trip home in the car. I felt every bump and crack in the road. Wearing a brace for two weeks with limited mobility until Dr. does 2 week review. Walking a lot and already walking much further than I could before surgery. Started back on treadmill today but slow speed. First time I've check Sixpack since before surgery. Trying to walk as much as possible.

Awesome news! If you need anything, holler. Walk as much as you can and do exactly what they tell you. Don’t want to have to go back under the knife.

First couple of days are a haze of pain meds! I remember trying to watch the Kentucky 08 Croom game while laid up a day or two after, nope. Still managed to get pissed at Croominator though.

The nightmares that go with the meds too! I quit them after 2 days. Just took Tylenol. Finally got to take off the bandages today. Looking forward to taking this brace off. I just have to be patient and listen to you guys that have experienced it. Thanks for the encouragement.

Yeah I agree with others--don't rush recovery. Do as they say, you're at ground zero. I learned that no matter how much I'm still in prime shape mentally (part time at least), being fresh off back surgery the body has a different plan. Listen to your docs and listen to your body.

Glad they were able to get you on the road to recovery and moving ahead of schedule rehabbing
