Yeah, I thought the same thing. There's a lot of guys that played considerably

last year that look to be sharing time this year. Good to have that kind of depth.

Rumors of a bruised wheel. Did he foul a ball off his foot or something yesterday?

Yea, what's up with that? I hope he hasn't gotten injured already.

I may be off, but it looked like he came up a little gimpy yesterday on that wildpitch strikeout yesterday where he made it to first. Sorry if this has already been addressed on the broadcast. And I may be wrong too.

Saw him out and about last night. Didn't notice a limp and he wasn't wearing a brace. I was told by a friend of mine close to the baseball team that Cohen was going to mix the lineup every day and (I was drinking, so this part is fuzzy) I'm PREEEETTY sure he told me that Rea was going to be pulled to give his backup some PT against some of our weaker schedule.

If anything I would imagine he tweaked his ankle in addition to Cohen shaking up the lineup. Minor but enough of a reason to hang out in the dugout.

Cohen definitely likes to mix the lineup up a lot, which I really like, especially early in the season. But I've got to think if Rea didn't play either game of a DH, it had to be a minor injury.

Also good to know we've recruited better players. When you see starters losing playing time to new guys, you know the team is getting better.

Thank you for filling in for me. I will resume my regular duties with the Grambling game.

Britton starting watch is now at four games and counting.

He has a minor quad injury. He will be fine- we just gave him a break for most of the day since it was a double header. May sit out for Grambling and then will be back for Purdue/Samford.
