Personal pans were the best thing ever. Especially since they brought them out at the temperature of the sun in the metal pans that would melt the skin of your fingers off

They’re not dead yet. But if you’re closing 250 restaurants, it’s not good. It was awesome back in the day, but I can’t remember the last time I’ve eaten at a Pizza Hut.

nothing could ever top the Danvers $1.00 hamburger ($1.06 with tax) which got you free access to the salad bar to “dress” your burger. Loaded that burger wrapper up with all manner of $h!+.

They’ve been talking about closing the actual restaurants for years. They make more money with pickup and delivery like Papa John’s and Dominoes.
Only thing I remember about Danvers is them getting shut down due to maggots thriving under the meat slicers that were never cleaned.

They are only closing 250 across the country. I go to Papa Johns because they give 35% discounts to veterans. Lost Pizza gives 15%.

Are there still Pizza Huts with dining rooms? The only ones I see now are takeout/delivery stores.
Back In the 80s, as a kid ... Those 30 minutes waiting on a thin and crispy topped with plenty of ingredients.... were an eternity but worth the wait.

I’ll explain. I was in there for lunch one day and had just finished and was walking down isle, I met a 20 something year old white girl, that bumped my shoulder as I passed.
Rude, but didn’t say nothing to her. I took two more steps and heard Fu_Kin B!TH and WHAP!!! Turned around and girl who had been sitting at table next to me was sprawled out acrosss the floor. She got to her feet while “rude girl” was whaling on her. Table girl pretty much body slammed her back into the table.
Management and others then got to them to break it up.
Cashier was so apologetic, and embarrassed.
I said if you could provide that as a show, I’d eat there every day!

In Tupelo, next to the hospital, they have a fully remodeled one with a lunch buffet. The Pizza Hut in Booneville has a dining room and buffet too last I know.
The one in north Tupelo is a certified shitshow. Two times I’ve been in there to get an order, I’ve seen someone quit and walk out.

Tupelo has so many good pizza spots, we don't really do any of the big 4 pizza chains. We do love some Sam’s Club pizza, but Pizza Doctor is my lunch spot.
If you live near Sam’s, their Pizza is great. 16 inch 4 meat for only 8.99. Can’t beat it.
Our Pizza Hut in Marshall, Tex is old school. Still has the red cups, wooden bowls, lunch buffet, and the 2 person Ms Pac-Man. Me and the old lady go every other week and both get the personal pan. Still comes out in the scalding hot pan. It’s glorious
