I've got to go to Mobile this weekend to visit the inlaws and am looking for a bar to watch the game. Is there an alumni group meeting somewhere? Any suggestions are welcome? Thanks.

If so, Moe's Original BBQ across the bay in Daphne is a possibility. They have a separate small bar next to the restaurant with 3 HD tv's. A cozy set up so get there early. Very good bbq. My nephew's joint so be sure to tell him to turn on the State game. I'm sure it will be one of the games on. They show SEC football on Saturdays. And they have a blue's musician playing in the courtyard next to the bar. Might come in handy as backup entertainment if our game gets out of hand. ;)

There is a Buffalo Wild Wings (on Airport by Hillcrest) which is very accomodating and has lots of TVs. Often times a group from the Mobile Chapter watches the game there. There are other places, but I couldn't promise you that they'd have it on- many won't show anything but Auburn or Bama if they are on at the same time.

You might be screwed man, the Bama game starts at 7pm. Call ahead and ask if they will show our game.

Wings - lots of TVs, off Airport close to I-65
Heroes - Downtown on Dauphin St.

Bob Baumhower is the owner of Wings and a Bama grad. I've heard the Mobile Chapter has tried to arrange viewings there and have been denied because the games were on at the same time. The only reason they might have it on1 or 2 TVs this time is because it is both UF and MSU.

As much as I dislike the food at BWW, they have been the most accomodating. They had about 5 different games on Saturday night.

Heroes would be cool, and there are a few other places within easy walking distance that may also show the game- but all of them will be much smaller and have less capacity to show multiple games. As RPooner said- call ahead wherever you decide.

Bama plays at 7 or 8.Buffalo Wild Wingsshould have it on, but I imagine it will be on one of the side TV's. Most of the big screens will probably have Bama-ole miss on. Haven't been to Hero's yet but I've heard good things about it.

I was saying it would be nice, so that when I/you visit a new town during a game, we can access the "Place to watch a game page" and find past suggestions.
