They win the recruiting battle every year but since Coach Mullen has gotten on campus, stars have become of less importance. Sure I would love to be loaded with four and five stars.... and if we ever want to become national contenders, this is a must. I just feel the need to tell all TSUN fans that come over here day in, day out, thatthey will get their asses handed to them once again this year. Here is the secret Bear fans.... What we do is weput a solid three and occasional four star in the Balis workout program, add in some great coaching from Mullen and friends, and you have yourself a solid football team that makes aBearfreshmen ask himself why he chose to put himself through four years of Egg Bowl misery.... or five-six year pending on his ability to read.I am sure that bear fans can argue all day long that we beat y'all this amount of time or we went to this bowl game or we got this recruit or that recruit. But the fact of the matter is that you are yet to beat this new coaching staff and until you do, enjoy the bottom of the cellar with Auburn!</p>

Ho hum. Unfortunately, this feels like a signing day right out of the Croom regime. I don't care what the excuses are, Dan's got to fix this. On the field results this year were great, but a "hot young coach" should be able to take care of business in all phases of the job. Cohen was on Sports Talk the other day and said as much. He said, above and beyond everything else about the job, you HAVE to be able to recruit. THEN you coach up your talent. But make no mistake, Dan's job pays off when he's coaching up talented players.
Look at Dooley, Jimbo Fisher, Dabo Swinney. These 3 programs are right about where we are, a little behind or a little ahead. But each of them are taking care of business in a big way on the recruiting trail. You don't see the excuses flowing at these 3 programs like you do each and every year at MSU.

but Clemson? Really? I may be uninformed, but I don't see anything really special about Clemson over us.
