You need to educate yourself then. Down syndrome is not hereditary and isn't caused by whatever you think "weakness to the genes" means. I don't know much about Sarah Palin's sex life, but I can certainly prove to you that no version of sex that Sarah Palin had contributed to her child's Down syndrome. well, they didn't do this study and find out that incest wasn't significant. One can theorize from that study that, indeed incest can be an enough of a factor for there to be awareness.

Could you provide any research that is newer than the 2011 study I linked to offer better information? Research is always provisional and a lot of the studies off those you links you posted were pre-2011 and cites that DS is the most underfunded research in the U.S. I think that 2011 shows pretty clear significance.

The Global Down Syndrome Foundation is a massive organization that updates their website and their research regularly. Their information is more current than your single 2011 study that STILL doesn't say anything about Down syndrome and incest, only about a potential link between "developmental disabilities" and incest. There are thousands of different developmental disabilities. Down syndrome is not one of the ones that has a correlation to incest outside of cases where Down syndrome is already genetically present in a form called translocation, which isn't relevant to this discussion.
