Do players really expect fans to be happy after they lose to a far inferior team? I mean, you (a good team) lost to one of the crappiest teams in division 1, and showed very minimal effort in doing so. This is not high school any more, so there are more than just your parents in the stands. We pay good money to see you perform, and thus are not pleased when you lose games that you should win by 30.

On Twitter in college athletics:
Show me one positive thing that has ever happened with athletes interacting with fans and reporters on twitter. You have nothing to gain and everything to lose. Our AD should ban all twitter during the season for players. Nothing good can come from giving fans and reporters direct access to our athletes 24-7.
