I think the whole "short track record" thing was an important point when Frost was kind of a Husker only fanboy crush.
We could sit around and legitimately argue experience, vice bringing in maybe a Mullen or a Campbell or a coach with a bit longer of a resume.
But since Frost is "the name" now, you have other fan bases that don't care that he's coached less than 20 games, they are still egging their AD on to throw $5 million at him.
Frost's resume doesn't stop the national talking heads from pimping him either.
Once the cat was out of the bag about how good this guy might be, the length of resume became pretty irrelevant.
