I am going to fhe back section to check on the fall calvers we put in there last week. Will lisen to the game on 880. I think we are to soft to win by much so i woukd take northrn illinios as far as the points spread goes but the corn buskers dont loose the game.

It's hard for to accept that a team like Northern Illinois can keep Nebraska that close. If the huskers don't win by more than 14 this year could be another 2007. Let's hope for a blowout.

I'm a homer NIU fan but I also think 11 points seems pretty low.

Arkansas State is pretty good at the passes out to the perimeter, they hit the backs on the run, throwing the ball out in front of them. Most of our WR screens, the WR is standing still, we throw it to them, and THEN they start running. Not as fast, and will be easier for Nebraska to defend. I think we run the ball more than Arkansas State does, that's more our game, or at least we want it to be.

NIU QBs are nowhere near as good as Oregon and ASU's. Big difference in consistency. Should be able to shut them down for the most part. Worried about potential rain. We should be able to run between the tackles and off tackle as well, although their perimeter speed is good. DE is undersized but athletic. Should go right at him #15. It will be interesting to see Farniok go up against him. Should eat up -11 if weather is decent.

Maybe, but we scored 20 points against BC and I bet their defense is still better than Nebraska's (They had 4 turnovers against Wake Forest but the stats were otherwise even in that game). And that was with our QB at the time continually missing wide open WRs deep.
