Playoff Format Question for Bracket Challenge

I'm going to plan on doing a bracket challenge like we've done the past few years when the playoff pairings come out, but I want to make sure I understand the playoff format for 1A and 2A correctly before we get into it.

2A - All regions will have their own 8 team playoff to determine a regional champion. The region A champ then plays the region B champ in the semis (while region C champ plays region D champ). The winner of the A/B state semi game then plays the winner of the C/D state semi game for the state championship.

1A - Everything is the same except for in region B, as they will have a 6 team playoff to determine the winner of the region (with the top seeds getting a first round bye). Here's where my question is with this one: will the Region B #1 face the winner of the 3/6 matchup, while the #2 faces the winner of the 4/5 matchup? or will the Region B #1 face the lowest seeded team (the 5 seed for example if they win, and the 3 beats the 6) to win those matchups, while the #2 faces the top seeded winning team from the round one pairings? or will it be something different than that even, where 1 plays 4/5, 2 plays 3/6?

I am not always right on these things, but in this case, I am about 97.54% sure that your last scenario is right...that the number one seed in Region B of Division 1 will host the winner of the 4/5 game and the number two seed will host the winner of the 3/6 game. It is always the same format as March Madness, which is why in the other eight-team regions 1 will play 8, 2 will play 7, 3 will play 6, and 4 will play 5.

That is what I think, but @DinwiddieProud said it was other way around. Guess we will see who is right ;)
