Going with in-person games:
1) Timmy Bowers leading us over Bama in '04
2) 3rd and 57
3) "Phantom" TD against LSU (I still think we actually got in on the play before, but this is widely considered a fringe theory)
4) Mario Austin 3 pointer
5) Not huge in the game or even important, but when we had that late-game goal-line stand against Bama in 2000. We thought only good years were ahead for us and the Kang.

Not to split hairs but Wuerffel wasn't there. He finished in 96. But they did go through 3 QBs. Started with Palmer, then went to the next great thing, Berlin, and then finished with the come out party for Grossman, who actually had a great game.

And, outside of John James, virtually none of them were big recruits or went anywhere after. But, those SOBs like Wisner could play.

No question...

I was there, and it was pandemonium when Butler caught that ball. Grown men, strangers, hugging each other, running around like little kids.

...1999 was the most fun year to be a MSU football fan. Never hugged more strangers than that year.
