Major & Stevenson slide up the depth chart for a month or so. Get them some playing time deep in games. Major is pretty darned talented.

I found this on the Norman Transcript:


T.J. Pledger’s surgery last week is not expected to keep him out the entire season.

Oklahoma’s sophomore running back suffered a hand injury in practice, but the operation was considered minor, coach Lincoln Riley said.

“We do expect him back this season,” he said.


Pledger’s absence, plus freshman running back Marcus Major’s, left OU with just three scholarship running backs against Houston. Major’s injury isn’t believed to be serious, but Riley wasn’t asked about his status Tuesday.

Defensive lineman Dillon Faamatau and Kenneth Mann both were sidelined with minor injuries against the Cougars and could play perhaps as soon as this week against South Dakota (6 p.m., Saturday).
