2nd to last row on the right is my early favorite. Why no MS interlocking baseball logo or MSJ? Those are the two most popular helmet choices. Can we get an Oregon rose bowl style? You do great work Chill. Thanks. You rock!!

I think gray doesn't need to be anywhere in our color schemes, but I realize I'm in the minority on that issue.

Very creative work, though. The Humping Bulldog logo looks a lot better on a helmet than I thought it would.

Preface by saying I think we should wear our traditional colors. But since it is inevitable that we will wear a black jersey again....that black helmet, Maroon facemask and logo is tight. That would look good with the black jersey with maroon numbers.

Those black helmets are SICK. The grays are a close second but really like the blacks. Especially the one on the top right with the diamond plating.

Like the silver with maroon facemask especially if they could do the silver like chrome (Oregon's bowl helmuts)

use the bottom left black helmet and make the MState the reflective mirror Oregon rosebowl style. The grey helmet with the toolbox pattern and reflective MState (Oregon style) would look amazing.

I dont see the five star classes from Bammer and Corndog U clamoring about signing there for the cool uniforms. They are signing there because they are winners. We are on our way there as well. At the end of the day, I think most 18-22 year olds want to win....no matter what the uni looks like.

That being said, thats some nice work CBD! I think they all look great. Im personally not a fan of the toolbox look, cause thats what I think that makes us look like, but if the majority likes em, I am all for it.

Would love to see the baseball MS on these options as well. Thanks for taking the time to show us your work.

-"Man, I really wanna dress out in those uniforms one day!"..... Not because of how sharp they are, but because it means they're good enough to play for them and a great possibility that one day they'll be playing in a championship title game. Us, on the other hand, don't have that luxury. When u look at our uniforms, you don't automatically think of a national powerhouse football program with years of dominating tradition. So we need to be a little creative, don't u think?
So many times on here, I've read all the brick-wall-brained comments saying, "Our colors are Maroon & White!! or You don't see Alabama, Nebraska, or Penn State go around changing up their uniforms!!!"....etc, blah blah. No, you sure as hell don't. Obviously, nobody in their right mind would think those teams' uniforms were "sharp". But they are. Those 50 yr old untouched uniforms come with automatic style points and with that, they are "sharp". What young athlete wouldn't want to suit up in rich tradition and snap on that boring helmet?
So..... Since Mississippi State University hasn't worn the same football uniform for 40-50 or even 20-30 yrs, or hell....even 4 years ago, can we please stop hearing about State's traditional uniforms???? Because, quite frankly, they don't exist. Please allow a little creative window shopping with open minds and open hearts. We'd sure appreciate it.

PS- Pantone 428C is in fact licensed as an OFFICIAL color of the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

I've ever read for the uniform changes. I agree with you on every point you made. And I hope that Striklin looks at your work and we see it on the playing field. It is excellent stuff. I will ask again that you give the silver helmet a shot with the baseball MS on it. Keep up the good work. All of us like to see what you are creating.

With that being said, let me try to explain why some of us dont like the "Oregon" look. With me personally, I think it makes us look CUSAish, or PAC12ish......thats just my personal opinion. Most of what you have created above does not fit what I call the "oregon" look. I think what you have done looks spectacular. As I said above, Im not a fan of the toolbox, but thats just me. I guess Ive just always felt like was one of the mystiques about Bama and LSU was their look. It never changes and I guess that through the years has come to stand for a winning tradition. But im 41 years old and can remember when we beat LSU every now and then.

So that leads me to this, and I feel like most of the "Baseball MS" crowd would agree with. The baseball MS is the closest thing uniform wise we have to tradition. Weve used it since 1972, and it has been associated with a program with a highly respected winning tradition. I looked through my personal wardrobe, and realized that 90% of my MSU garb has the baseball MS on it. With me its more about personal taste, and I simply just like the MS. To me, the MState logo looks like a pageant sash across an M, and doesnt separtate us from the rest of the MStates out there. Ive always wondered why we have used two and three logos at a time....when we've had the baseball MS sitting there all of these years and is the logo associated with the only winning program that we have had through my lifetime.

I hope that maybe Ive cleared up the "traditional" mindset here......trust me, at the end of the day, I would root for us no matter what we wear. I just think that the baseball MS is so clearly the logical choice that it just baffles me why we dont use it across the board.

Keep up the good work, and let us see more....thanks for putting in the time and showing us your talent!

and how many stars do you have? Yeah, I thought so. Don't give two ***** about your uniform opinion. Or mine for that matter. We could come out in damn Bozo the clown suits for all I care if it helps with recruiting and by god Oregon has proven that it does. They are the Apple of NCAA football programs. Cool, hip, and a place where people want to be. What old bastards like us think should be irrelevant. I want to win more than I want to play fashion police.
