Yeah, why don't you put on all of the extra crap and then try to move enough to do your job. Volumes and volumes.

Oh I have, prior Law Enforcement in the USAF. Trust me, most properly trained and professional police officer's don't have a problem with body camera's....Good luck finding those as they are few and far between.

Your point is that you have no point. You are clinging to meaningless drivel.

I have acknowledged that there would be difficulties in warehousing the video data if nationwide police body cams were mandated. There would be rough spots and the market is not currently set up for it. Got it.

The same would have been said about setting up the FBI and the interstate highways. Both are good things in my opinion, and both took a little work to implement.

So, again, yup there is not infrastructure currently in place to warehouse police body cam video. Your point is made and acknowledged. That does not change the fact that police body cams should and can be done fairly easily.

And if you're an IT dork, you should be welcoming it because that means more work for you Mountain Dew Code Red drinking, no tan having goofballs.

I"m all for body cams but I still don't think that solves the underlying issue that is the larger problem, the SJW crowd is anti cop and the rest of America is being snookered by the race hustlers who are laughing all the way to the bank. I would say over half of the high profile incidents between cops and blacks has an accompanying video of some sort. I'll use the two shootings that sparked accompanying riots, Milwaukee and Charlotte. In both shooting the cops had body cams and although we've not seen the Charlotte video, it apparently somewhat refutes the story of the family in that the victim only had a book. In Milwaukee, the video by all accounts clearly shows the shooting suspect was armed. Did this stop the rioting and looting??

What's even more asinine is that in BOTH of these instances, the officers were black. Yet the narrative, or underlying theme, is that the white police establishment has killed another innocent black male. Hell, the Charlotte rioters actually tried to sacrifice a white photo journalists in a fire they started I guess to equal the score. Bottom line is truth no longer matters irrespective of the evidence, video or no video. In a recent article by Heather MacDonald, who is probably one of the foremost academicians studying law enforcement issues, she cites "that a police officer is more than 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male, than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer". Interesting thought and in fact, the only racially charged assassinations I know of were perpetrated by angry black males ambushing police officers. But again, the truth doesn't matter. Only perceptions, feelings and our emotions. Wake up America, you are being duped by one of the greatest con jobs and you don't even know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Know who uses the term race hustlers?

I do because that is the most appropriate term to describe idiots like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Deray McKesson, Shaun King etc. They have gained fame, notoriety and $$$$$$$$$$$ by stirring and preying on the emotions of Americans by pimping racial animus.

If it doesn't provide direct body protection then it's not needed.

I understand the obvious need for the officer to protect himself. But if you think that the safety of the officer is the only priority, you're completely ignoring the purpose of having police.

Protecting the public is the job. These cameras provide certainty and accountability to those citizens that law enforcement were hired to serve.

How is putting cameras on them giving them more power?

It's not. Exactly the opposite, as I said in one of my previous posts. I know they're long, but anyone who hasn't read them probably should check them out.

I just did. Look, I know you don't agree but I've more than made my point. If it doesn't provide direct body protection then it's not needed.

Those things are not as small as you assume imo.

They can shed the nightstick and tazer/mace cause they seem they aren't needed or used as the 1st line of defense.
