You can't make this stuff up. The co-authors of the article are Northwestern (Mandel) and Iowa (Dochterman) guys respectively. Didn't Northwestern just have a disgusting sexual hazing scandal that resulted in the firing of their golden-boy head coach?

Meanwhile some Iowa athletes have been under investigation for gambling, and worst yet, last year Iowa agreed to a 4M "racism" settlement. People who live in glass houses....

Northwestern was the most vocal as being anti-RU during the pre-2012 expansion talks.

Maybe this turns into what Iowa and Nebraska have now. That is a serious rivalry among fanbases.
