I've heard some of it was grade issues, some was cheating on a test, and then there was some disciplinary stuff because some players started bitching in a meeting about the offensive game plan against Bama.... openly, in front of everyone.

Wish I knew who did what, but either way you're talking a complete a utter catastrophe up there.

Seriously, how reliable is this poster? I don't have a clue what happened, but the more plausible story to me is that they skipped practice.

If any of that is true Nutt has lost control and suspending players is bad because a large percentage of the other players are going to take the suspended players side causing more despaired. Like a bolder rolling down hill. It just getting faster and more destructive.

I noticed that too.. he was just a regular poster then boom one night its like he's in the AD office. FYI he guaranteed Jason Croom would be committing to us. Look how that turned out

He called the 12 million from the Seals before anyone ever knew about it.

And he wasn't the only one who said Croom would commit to state; basically everyone did until Mizz Terry spoiled his announcement.

I got this from an older UM alum:

There have been ongoing issues with some team members dissenting from
the coaching staff about game plans. Some players spoke up in a team
meeting about their concern that Nutt wasn't running an offense that put
them in position to win, but the defense was doing its job. Nutt was
furious and went on a witch hunt, holding individual meetings with
players, reminiscent of the Joseph McCarthy hearings. A couple of
players gave out some names, and as I am told, those are the ones that
are suspended. I've not been a fan of this forward rebels group, but
I'm starting to understand their point of view.

started getting quiet- all I got out of one this morning was that the suspensions were because of "team strife"....4 guys in college just dont decide to skip f'ing practice- something happened that led to that if they did. Could have been some bitching and then they were sent out and not allowed to practice- or they bitched about the gameplan and said - 17 it, i'm not practicing...but it's extremely doubtful they just skipped practice to get laid or take a nap- guys just dont do that on the college level

saying that the coaches felt like the players were jsut going 'going through the motions', and it was causing some some tension. Especially on offense. Yancy jerked it down though.

They might be connected.

To be fair, about week before Croom committed to UT he also said things had changed and it wasn't looking good for State.

two of the players were suspended because they lied about a test they were taking. Said the test took several hours to complete and that they had to miss practice. Someone else showed up for practice and said the test only took 30 minutes.

I wouldn't worry about that guy. He's an *******.

Singleton wouldve lost his moms new apartment if he transferred. Considering they promoted him from 4th team to 2nd team after he skipped practice, he should be much happier now. And people wonder why players are calling out coaches?

It couldn't be that the player is on the payroll, and if you piss him off, he can roast your school. Certainly not. Not all of them just go away like patpat.

My Ole Miss friend said it involved a little "weed" and that Boone made the decision, not Nutt. He may not know the facts any more than me but just passing on his info.
