Another story of Secret Service incompetence. This one during the UN General Assembly:

“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of a Sept. 25 incident where a Uniformed Division officer working security near the United Nations General Assembly in New York City reportedly engaged in unprofessional behavior, including leaving a firearm unattended for a brief time in a secure zone before returning to the weapon."

"The same officer, an overweight African American man, also has been accused of leaving his semi-automatic rifle (what appears to be a SR16) unattended while taking a bathroom break from his security duties, according to these sources.

New York Police Department officers witnessed and took photos of what they considered the officer’s unprofessional behavior — what they described as sleeping on the job and leaving the rifle unattended — and reported it to their superiors at the multi-agency command center, which included representatives from the Secret Service, the NYPD, and other law enforcement agencies.

A Secret Service spokesperson told @RCPolitics that the USSS Uniformed Division officer was relieved of his operational duties “immediately after leadership was notified” of the alleged unprofessional behavior, and the officer returned to Washington, D.C.
The Secret Service has placed the officer on administrative leave pending a disciplinary review and emphasized its “strict professional standards” and stated that those who violate these standards will face immediate “disciplinary action.”

Even before the Butler assassination attempt against President Trump, the Secret Service was facing Congressional scrutiny over its DEI hiring and vetting policies during the Biden administration. Since Butler, one Secret Service agent, Rashid Ellis, has come forward publicly to blame last year’s agency failures during Butler on the Secret Service’s DEI priorities; many other agents and officers have made the same allegations to me anonymously. It’s unclear what actions Secret Service Director Sean Curran has taken to address the DEI concerns beyond placing a number of Secret Service officials who worked on USSS DEI programs during the Biden years on administrative leave earlier this year in compliance with Trump’s anti-DEI directive. The Secret Service has not responded to repeated questions from @RCPolitics on this topic."

The superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools has been arrested by ICE as an illegal alien, was exposed for lying about having a PhD, has had his license revoked, & his district is now under a DOJ investigation for its DEI programs.

Ian Roberts, 54, a native of Guyana, was arrested by ICE last Friday after he allegedly fled a traffic stop & abandoned his district-issued vehicle. Inside the car, police found a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash, & a hunting knife.

It has now been revealed that Roberts never obtained the doctoral degree from Morgan State University that he has long claimed to have.

This week, the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners officially revoked his superintendent's license. Hours after his arrest, the DOJ launched an investigation into the school district for potential employment discrimination. The probe is focused on the district's DEI programs & "race-and-color-based teacher recruitment goals."

Fortunately she is still alive. That article is from January.
Well, hopefully you’re correct. I checked several links but I guess they’re all bs.

per Grok

No, Steffi Graf is still alive as of the latest available information. Stefanie Maria Graf, the renowned German tennis player, was born on June 14, 1969, and there have been no credible reports or official announcements indicating her death. She retired from professional tennis in 1999 and has since lived a relatively private life with her husband, Andre Agassi, and their two children. The most recent web results, such as those from Wikipedia and The Indian Express (updated as late as June and July 2025), discuss her career achievements and ongoing public appearances, with no mention of her passing. If you came across any rumors suggesting otherwise, they are likely unfounded or misinformation.

Miller: "The idea that there is a square INCH of block in this city where a citizen doesn't feel safe is unacceptable."

"To the Memphis Police Department, to the officers that I see sitting in front of me, we are about to provide you with a level of support you cannot even imagine. This isn't just a task force. This is a all-of-government, unlimited support operation. ATF, DEA, FBI, ICE, Department of War, every resource we have."

"And they're not going to be sitting behind a desk at a keyboard. We are sending in real cops with GUNS and badges to go out with you on the street every single night making arrests."

"These are people who have taken down drug cartels, kingpins, the worst criminal offenders in the United States, standing with you shoulder to shoulder to shoulder."

"All we ask from you is to show up at roll call every single night with your brothers and sisters in the federal government, and to go out and get the criminals off the street."

"And if you do that, I pledge to you, we will liberate this city from the criminal element that has plagued it for generations."

Idk if its related, but dont forget the secret service thwarted a plot to disable cell and ems communication around the UN. We didn't hear another peep about that, but you'd think that was an extremely dangerous plot that must've been setting up for something huge.

Guess itll be in the same file drawer as the vegas shooter.

These fruitcakes are ate up with it

The more I see headlines like this, the more I love the idea of the US Govt buying some giant chunk of land in northern Canada, surrounding it with a wall similar tot he one from A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) that separated the Seven Kingdoms from the land of the Wildlings and the Others, and throwing all these insane Leftists in there and letting them live however they see fit.

The coaching carousel was fairly tame and small last year, but it's going to be pretty big this year with a lot of high profile jobs already available. Barnhart needs to get on the bandwagon fast, unless he's got a pretty solid gentleman's agreement with Sumrall knowing that, like Pope, he would spurn all others to come coach his alma mater. If not him, call number two needs to go to Will Stein. I know he's a Louisville grad and would likely use us as a stepping stone, but his daddy played for UK so he has ties to the state that might pry him from Oregon. Brohm isn't going anywhere for a while, so We would be the next best scenario for him if he wants to be closer to family. (I used to work for his uncle many years ago too). I think unless something miraculous happens, we can't afford to NOT fire Stoops despite the buyout, which will get taken care of somehow. We will lose more revenue than the buyout will cost us. Boy that Survey UK put out last week was certainly ill-timed.

Sorry I'm playing some catchup, was gone to a conference the last few days. In DC of all places.
Not sure how likely it would be that he would come here...but wouldn't you have to make a call to Curt Cignetti? I can't imagine he's gonna be at IU forever. He may view an SEC job as a step up. UK is paying Stoops top 10 money...I'm sure they would pay top 10 for someone like Curt.

Agree. I’d bet a pretty penny those liberal women who approved/hired this guy heard the red flags from the background checks and actively pushed them aside so they could get their “feel goods” from hiring a non-white man to a position that high. They probably even bragged about how good they were in their next few Chardonnay socials.

I currently have Hulu for my cable type TV. I'd love to get rid of it since it's owned by Disney. BUT YouTube TV is owned by Google/Alphabet. I really don't want to go back to cable/Spectrum so I had to pick my poison. Gotta have full access for UK sports.
Hulu is who I have as well. Hulu is raising their prices again btw. I remember when these streaming services were cheaper than cable. Now it's the same. I still prefer it over cable though.

Why? Most people in Congress are over 50. 80% of millionaires are over 50. How many non-millionaires can afford to run? I think there's a correlation between intelligence and wealth to boot.

Of course there is, but if you think more than say 20% of congress is intelligent, I don't even know what to say. I'd put it at 80% are corrupt as can be.

Not correlating those 2 numbers, btw.

I’m more-so attracted to the idea of forcing them to let go of their housing stockpile, we’d find that if they did, these artificially inflated property taxes would decrease too.

I absolutely agree with the idea of ALL property taxes, at levels higher than current, get paid by private equity firms, and the like holding huge inventories of homes.
