Dug around for a few details about the lady shown above...
Francesca Albanese is an expert in international law and forced displacement,
with a focus on migration and refugee rights.
She has served as a senior advisor on migration and forced displacement for the think tank Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD).
Albanese has taught and lectured at various universities in Europe and the Middle East on topics including international law and forced displacement.

The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD) is involved in activities funded by USAID, including the Tawazon – Promoting the Voice and Leadership of Women activity, which launched the Arab Women Leadership Academy (AWLA) in October 2024 to develop leadership abilities among women in Jordan.
This initiative aims to enhance women's civic and political participation and their leadership roles in public, private, and civil society sectors through a six-month training program targeting 500 women over three years.
ARDD also previously implemented the Generating Economic Empowerment through Market Solidarity (GEMS) project in partnership with USAID’s Local Enterprise Support Project from June to September 2018, focusing on improving the employability of refugees and Jordanian host community members through vocational training and marketing capacity development.
The Trump administration significantly cut USAID funding in 2025, terminating the vast majority of grants, including many democracy and human rights programs, leading to the effective dismantling of the agency's operations and impacting numerous global initiatives like those supporting The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD)
